​​Friendly Hands Food Bank - All Items Welcome - Please remember to add an item or two in your shopping basket.  The need is no less during the summer months.  The box is located at the parking lot entrance.


Others ongoing include, FISH, Operation Overflow,  Heifer International,  Thanksgiving Food Offering, Monthly Communion Offering, UM Army(Youth), Torrington Soup Kitchen, World Vision.





The people of the First United Methodist Church are blessed with a wonderfully active Mission Committee, which provides support to goth global needs, and local needs right here in the Torrington area.  The Men's club, Sunday School, the Blessings and Gifts Committe and the Youth Fellowship are all actively involved in local and global projects.  If you know of a need or program, please email or call us.
